Our 4 day Foundation Level Dynamics Developer course is designed to give delegates an introduction to AX development and the Programming environment. Students will learn about AX architecture, main elements in Morph X, Objects, X++ Language and Development tools.
The course will be a mix of theory and practical exercises. Upon completion of this course, you will understand:
- The Development and Programming environment in Dynamics AX
- How to build a functional application based on client requirements
- Develop in AX using Object-Oriented concepts
- Develop modifications that interact with the AX Database and transfer these to test or live environments
- Understand the upgrade of modifications
- Understand form structure
- Create basic design elements

Examination Passing Policy
Should a student complete a Firebrand Training Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year. Students will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor exam fees.
Microsoft Dynamics AX Foundation Developer Certification - Prerequisites
Students who are successful in accelerated Dynamics AX Developer certification training are required to meet the following prerequisites:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP
- Knowledge of Object orientated Programming concepts and at least one OOP language (C++, Java, C#)
- Basic programming knowledge/ skills
Firebrand Training staff interview all potential students regarding their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and personal fortitude. This screening process ensures a successful match between the customer and Firebrand Training toward accelerated training and certification.
Firebrand Training is an aggressive training environment. You must have an attitude aimed for success. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.
