A Firebrand Training
3
Day Course
The Cisco CCNA Wireless course is designed to provide staff with an introduction to wireless technologies. Through a combination of classroom lecture and practical exercises students will be able to install, configure and troubleshoot a small or medium size WLAN. The course not only provides students with a general understanding of wireless networks but introduces Cisco’s Wireless Control System.
The primary objective is for delegates to gain a working knowledge of wireless concepts and practices including:
Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Networking Essentials (IUWNE) is recommended training for CCNA Wireless certification. You must pass the required IUWNE v1.0 (640-721) exam and hold an active CCNA certification in order to achieve your CCNA Wireless certification.
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the camp, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification.
Each delegate will be provided with courseware that can be used as a post course resource.
Firebrand Training offers top-quality technical education and certification training in an all-inclusive course package specifically designed for the needs and ease of our students. We attend to every detail so our students can focus solely on their studies and certification goals.
Our instructors teach to accommodate every student's learning needs through individualised instruction, hands-on labs, lab partner and group exercises, independent study, self-testing, and question/answer drills.
Firebrand Training has dedicated, well-equipped educational facilities where you will attend instruction and labs and have access to comfortable study and lounging rooms. Our students consistently say our facilities are second-to-none.
Should a student complete a Firebrand Training Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year. Students will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor exam fees.
This course prepares students for the Cisco 640-721 Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Networking Essentials.
Successful completion of the exam results in the CCNA Wireless certification.
Although there is currently no higher certification this would be a prerequisite for any forthcoming programme.
Firebrand Training staff interview all potential students regarding their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and personal fortitude. This screening process ensures a successful match between the customer and Firebrand Training toward accelerated training and certification.
Firebrand Training is an aggressive training environment. You must have an attitude aimed for success. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.
"Excellent place to study and learn."
Kevin Cracknell, Anglia Business Solutions.
"This is a professional and well delivered course. However do not consider such a condensed course if you are either inexperienced in the IT field or you are unprepared! The Comptia certification is not a soft or easy option for the inexperienced! Prepare to work very hard for very long hours and you may be rewarded for your efforts."
Simon Chandler, DJO UK Ltd.
"The MCSE 14 day course is a real test of your character and mind. The instructors are the best in the business, if you work hard you will pass."
Mark Gambrell, MTA Solicitors.
"The CISSP course was very hard but rewarding. The instructor covered the large sylabus in a clear and easy to understand manner. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to potential CISSP candidates. "

"Without a doubt a very intense 2 weeks. The ethos at the start of the course was you will get out of it what you put in and that is certainly true! The instructor was exceptional at delivering material, and giving us appropriate time for breaks and one to one where it was needed. Better than I ever expected!"
C.H., Azetch IT Solutions.
"Professional from start to finish."
Mark Elleray, Abbot Solutions Ltd.

"I was glad to be thoroughly challenged each and every day, where I would be pushed beyond my abilities and devlop my skills.
The instructor was fantastic, making even tough topics seem simple, and hopefully this will be reflected in an exam pass :-)

Damon Smith, Self Employed.
"The training was excellent and well presented. The boot camp was the most effective way to study for the CISSP. "

"The training that you get at Firebrand is first class with the instuctors helping anyway possible.
Although there is only one choice of meal at dinner if you approach the chefs they will do there best to accomidate you if possible.
I would reccomend anyone that is thinking of coming for a CCNA course to get the cram book for the course and read it before attending. Come with no knowledge and you will struggle.
Last of all be prepared for long days drifting off into long nights. "
Christopher Spence, Fluor Ltd.
